FIP PALABRA EN EL MUNDO | May 23rd and 24th in Venice

In the context of Europe, today terribly marked by war and significant social conflicts, the International Poetry Festival (FIP) Palabra en el Mundo – an annual appointment in May in Venice – continues to put to the centre, with more determination than before, the poetic word. For over a decade, the FIP Palabra en el Mundo activity in Venice has revolved around the construction and dissemination of a culture of Peace carried forward through the poetic word.

The theme of the XVII edition 2023 proposed by the FIP of Havana, to which the Venetian edition is linked, is Peace. The participant poets, belonging to different generational and geographical experiences, interpret the various nuances and echoes they envisage in the theme in this 2023 edition of Quaderni della Palabra.
